I mourn a brother and colleague, Hon. Juwa Adegbuyi
The death of Honourable Juwa Adegbuyi hit me like a thunderbolt! Yesterday remains one of my saddest days in life!

Juwa, we were so close and I still remember how you used to call me “OluwaDS”! Your seat was directly behind mine at the hallowed chambers and I usually enjoyed our banters and your occasional whispers whenever you observed any untoward comment from a member during our debate sessions. You always asked me, Oluwa DS, where is orogbo (Bitter kola), because you know I always have it with me!
Juwa, who will now whisper into my ears during our sessions in the hallowed chamber?
Juwa, who will now ask me for Orogbo? Who will now sit behind me at the hallowed chamber?
Juwa ko buru o!
Mo gba folorun o! ( I accept your death as an act of God, but with a very heavy heart)
You were such a reliable and dependable ally) You were great and good! Your sudden demise will forever remain a mystery to me! No warning, no signs, no inkling, no goodbyes!
Your death is one of those events that always gets me thinking and asking questions about life! What is the essence of life? Is life not about futility of human existence? Such is life where we are happy in the morning only to be sad in the evening!
But in all things, we give glory to God because we can neither question him nor query him! We thank God for your life though short, it was memorable and remarkable because you affected positively the lives of many people. We are consoled with the fact that you played your own part very well and to the best of your ability!
Wherever you are Juwa, always know that you are loved by many people and we shall continue to cherish your good nature and the robust relationship we had! Sweet is the memory of the righteous!
I pray that God will grant your wife and children the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and will continue to protect and provide for them! God will miraculously fill the void that your death created in their lives!
God will grant us, your colleagues at the Ekiti State House of Assembly the strenght to accept what we cannot change. I commiserate with the people of Ekiti East constituency 1, whom Juwa represented well to the best of his ability, the All Progressives Congress and also, the entire government and people of Ekiti State.
I pray that your good soul continues to rest in the bosom of the Lord until we meet to part no more!
