In fulfilment of his campaign promises to improve the economic life of his constituents, member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency 1, Hon. Olusola Steve Fatoba(MHR) has empowered some selected people in Ado, Irepodun/Ifelodun LG with cash to boost their businesses.
The empowernment programme according to Hon. Fatoba was part of activities to celebrate his birthday and a way of giving back to his constituents.
Speaking at the event, state Vice Chairman of APC in Ekiti state, Hon. Sola Elesin enjoined
beneficiaries of the business grant not to be selfish with what they have benefitted.
He also commended Hon. Fatoba for the empowernment programme and giving back to his constituents.
Some of the beneficiaries of the business grant who spoke with newsmen expressed their joy and satisfaction.
Mr Igbalojobi Olaiya, one of the beneficiaries and a photographer from Irepodun/Ifelodun LG has this to say;
“I am using this medium to express my profound appreciation to hon. Fatoba for this wonderful opportunity enjoyed by me today. May God continue to be with him”

Another beneficiary, Mrs Adetutu Olaiya said, “Hon. Fatoba is a man of his word. I wish him more continual success in office”
Fatoba during a press interview revealed that he gave out the business grant to improve the economic life of his constituents in line with his campaign promises.
He promised to make the empowernment programme a continuous one on monthly basis, with assurance to make sure that his constituents enjoy more dividend of democracy.
Some dignitaries that witnessed the empowerment included, Hon. Kemi Balogun(MHA), Hon. Toyin Lucas(MHA), Ekiti state commissioner for works, Hon. Sola Adebayo, Hon. Tade Aluko, Deputy Chief Of Staff, Hon. Mike Akinleye, and Ado LG APC chairman, Mrs Nike popoola, Mr Ademola Adetolapapa, Mr. Nicholas Oyinlade, Mr Kayode Oladimeji and other APC stakeholders in Ado-Ekiti LG.
Others are Ado LG Women leader, Mr Fatai Bello, Chairman Irepodun/Ifelodun LG, Hon. Shina Ogunleye and his Vice, Hon. Babatola Ogundana, Hon. Vicent Bewaji, Secretary Irepodun/Ifelodun LG. Also present were APC LG party chairman in Irepodun/Ifelodun and his executives.
