The Senator representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, Olubunmi Adetunmbi, has facilitated Federal Government Survival funds for Artisans in his Senatorial district.
The gesture which is one of the Federal Government policies put in place to cautioned the effect of Coronavirus lockdown last year.
The Senator who was represented by Chairman, Adetunmbi Advisory Council at the data capturing, Chief Biodun Akin Fasae said the money will boost the economy of the district and afford the Artisans to boost their businesses.
Fasae who appreciates the Senator for assisting his people, implore the beneficiaries of the survival funds to make judicious use of the grant and strictly adhere with Covid-19 protocols and obey government instructions about the deadly pandemic.
The data capturing of the funds took place at Senator Adetunmbi Senatorial office at Ifaki-Ekiti under the supervision of his Director-General, Chief Segun Adelugba.
The programme which captured over 400 Artisans is part of Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi’s facilitated gesture to lift people out of poverty.
The Personal Assistant to the Senator, Hon. Moshood Lawal (Bamaiyi) said the beneficiaries should be expecting their grant before the end of the month.
