President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to bequeath a better Nigeria to the present and future generations.

The President made the promise during the 2021 Children’s Day celebration on Thursday in Abuja.

Buhari hosted a group of kids at the State House on Thursday as part of the activities to mark the day.

The ceremony witnessed the cutting of a cake, a guided tour of the President’s office, meeting rooms, banquet hall, and the zoo at the Presidential Villa.

The Nigerian leader described children as “precious blessings who should be nurtured to carry the burden of society in the future”.

Buhari also received another group of children from Borno State.

The President had a photo with his guests and Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
