The Project Committee of the Methodist Girls High School Ifaki-Ekiti Alumni Association uses this medium to appreciate the President, Vice President, National Coordinator, The secretary, Treasurer, the National Matron, and the entire members of this great Alumni for their contributions and support last year.

We are now in the first quarter of the year, and it is our sincere prayer that the Year will bring Good tidings, joy, and abundant blessings to us all.

It was quite unfortunate that we were not able to celebrate our 60th Anniversary as planned, because of the Covid pandemic that unfortunately raged all over the continent. But even though we could not gather to party heartily, Our Alma mater still turned 60 and our first phase project gifts to her still went on smoothly as envisaged.

Like we said this is only the first phase, and because we all know whatever is worth doing at all is worth doing well, we need to commence the remaining projects (2nd phase) and we seriously need funds.

We are using this opportunity to appeal to us to pay our annual dues and all other contributions to the national purse.

The projects we embarked upon were:

i. School gate

ii. Security House

iii. The four legs of the school fence.

Having spent roughly 14 million on these projects, out of the four legs, we only did two legs so building the remaining two legs is part of Phase 2 of our projects which we will need about 10 million naira to bring to completion.

As it is necessary to be thankful for favors and blessings received, i would like to appreciate all sets and chapters for the huge donations.

Many thanks go to the 60th reunion committee for all their contributions and support.

Also, I want to appreciate the building committee and all the Exco committee for their advice and support.

Lastly, i thank everyone for deciding to contribute their quota to the development of our Alma mater.

Long live MGHS!
