House of Representatives member representing Ekiti Central Federal Constituency II, Hon. Barr. Omowumi Olubunmi Ogunlola, has commissioned projects in her constituency.

The Projects, Erelu Bisi Fayemi Comprehensive Health Center, Ejiyan-Ekiti, and the Erelu Bisi Fayemi ICT Center, Ijero High School, Ijero-Ekiti was commissioned by the First lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi in a well-attended ceremony on Thursday.

The lawmaker also distributed vehicles, motorcycles, sewing machines, generators, grinding machines, and other types of equipment to her constituents.

Hon. Ogunlola had, apart from giving out the items, empowered 100 students with bursary awards, and dole out huge capital resources to 100 widows and 100 traders to help them in their businesses.

Speaking while distributing the items to the beneficiaries in Ijero-Ekiti, Hon. Ogunlola said the empowerment programme is aimed at job creation and skill development in order to alleviate poverty and improve the total well-being of her constituents.

The lawmaker said there is no town in her constituency that she has not touched.

Hon. Ogunlola expressed her appreciation to Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and his wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi for their support.

While commending Hon. Ogunlola for her quality representation, Erelu Bisi Fayemi thanks the lawmaker for not disappointing those who supported her.

She said the lawmaker triple what she did last year with massive projects and empowerment.

The First Lady said, Hon. Ogunlola’s wonderful representation of her constituents will open more doors to many women in politics.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Ekiti, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) while speaking at the occasion described Ogunlola as a good ambassador of the party.

Oyebanji thanks the lawmaker for outstanding performance and for always empowering her constituents irrespective of their political affiliation.

The governorship candidate urged the people of the constituency to reciprocate the gesture by supporting APC in June 18 governorship election in the State.

The benefiting communities all thanked the honorable for her accountability, diligence, sincerity of purpose and always putting the people’s interest first as they all assured her of their unalloyed support in her next political aspiration.

The ceremony was attended by the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, APC governorship candidate, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), APC Deputy Governorship candidate, Chief Monisade Afuye, Oba Adebayo Adewole JP (Ajero of Ijero), former Ekiti APC Chairman, Chief Jide Awe, EKHA member representing Ijero constituency, Hon. Ademola Ojo amongst other dignitaries.
