The House of Representatives member representing Ekiti North Federal Constituency II, Hon Ibrahim Kunle Olarewaju (MHR), has called on Christians all over the world to imbibe the lessons of Easter by appreciating the central theme of sacrifice, death on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In his message to commemorate this year’s Easter celebrations, Barr. Olarewaju said the lessons illustrated by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ should be a model for human existence.

The erudite lawyer-turned politician therefore urged Christians to rededicate themselves to the values of love, peace, sacrifice and tolerance.

According to him,
“If Jesus Christ can be unjustly charged, beaten, crucified and later died of cruelty, and even still showed compassion and love to a hardened armed robber crucified alongside him at the point of his death, then it will be the highest order of betrayal for christians not to love one another”.

The lawmaker used the occasion to encourage his constituents to continue with their supports and prayers for a successful completion of governor Fayemi’s administration and extend such to the aspiration of Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) and Chief Mrs Monisade Afuye (the governorship and deputy governorship candidates of the APC in the forthcoming Ekiti governorship election) so they can continue the good works JKF is doing in Ekiti.

He promised to continue giving the constituency a robust representation and give back to them the dividends of democracy they’ve bn longed for.

He said, “You have given me this baton with your votes,I will continue to use it to better your lives. In less than three years my legacy are in all the towns and villages in Ido Osi,Moba and Ilejemeje local governments for everyone to see.

“By His grace, I have sponsored the highest number of bills any Ekiti born House of Representatives member has done in the past till date.

“I have extended my democracy goodies to our students of higher institution across the Constituency while the civil servants, artisans and our respected religion and traditional institutions are being accorded their utmost dignity and respect.

“Continue showing me this huge supports and I will continue to do you proud as your representative”.

The House of Representatives Member who’s seeking a reelection into the green chamber prayed for an end to insecurity in the country and charged christians,in the Easter mood of celebration,to pray for Nigeria for unending peace, security and unity of the country.
