Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adekunle Gold, has surprised Simi, his celebrity wife, with a brand new car.
The seemingly excited ‘Jamb Question’ crooner took to her Instagram story on Sunday to share a video of the new car.
In the video, Simi is seen driving the car while the gift ribbon was still wrapped around the bonnet.
The singer also shared a snapshot of the posh interior.
Simi tagged her husband in the video while expressing her excitement.
The lovebirds tied the knot at a low-key ceremony in January 2019 and welcomed their first child together in June last year.
Simi, 34, broke into the mainstream with her single ‘Tiff’ in 2014.
She has since established herself in the Nigerian music industry as a well-known singer while bagging several nominations and awards.
Her 2017 eponymous album ‘Simisola’ won the ‘Album of the Year’ at The Headies.
Adekunle Gold, on the other hand, gained fame after putting out ‘Sade’, his 2015 hit.
He recently opened up about his past struggles with sickle cell anemia.
