Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has urged Permanent Secretaries in the State Civil Service to prioritize service delivery for the collective benefit of the state.

All Nigeria Latest News reports that Governor Oyebanji issued this directive during his inaugural meeting with the Permanent Secretaries at the Governor’s office in Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.

In outlining his policy direction during the meeting, Governor Oyebanji expressed his intention to build upon the policies and programs initiated by the previous administration led by Dr. Kayode Fayemi. However, he emphasized that there would be a distinct approach under his administration.

He said attention would be on results and not effort, adding that there would be consequences for poor performance.

In seeking their support to fulfill his campaign commitments, Governor Oyebanji assured the Permanent Secretaries that his administration would prioritize their welfare within the constraints of available resources.

He encouraged them to view Ekiti as a collective project.
