All Nigeria Latest News reports that the President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is presently in Daura, Katsina State, engaging in discussions with President Muhammadu Buhari.

The President-elect arrived in Daura from Abuja on Wednesday night, just a few hours after receiving a Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The meeting with the President is likely centered around paying homage to the outgoing President and expressing gratitude for the support received during the electioneering process.

Tinubu was accompanied on the visit to Daura by National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Abdullahi Adamu, Governors of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-rufai, Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu, Ebonyi, Dave Umahi, Zamfara, Bello Muhammad, among others.

Tinubu was declared the President-elect in the early hours of Wednesday by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), emerging victorious over Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
