All Nigeria Latest News reports that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has, to date, uploaded results from 145,519 out of 176,846 polling units, marking four days since the conclusion of the presidential poll.

The figure signifies that 82 percent of results from all polling units have been uploaded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

As at today, the electronic transmission of results was still in progress.

The commission has faced criticism for its inability to electronically transmit results to the results viewing portal.

All Nigeria Latest News had reported that Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the commission, had assured that accreditation figures and results would be transmitted on the election day.

As of Wednesday, the results of all polling units were still pending upload on the INEC website.

INEC had earlier in the day announced Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the election.

The INEC boss had said Tinubu secured a total of 8,794,726 votes to win the election.
