The president-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, paid a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Katsina State on Wednesday.

The information was disclosed by Bashir Ahmad, the Special Assistant on Digital Communications to the President, via his Twitter account.

Bashir Ahmad shared a photo of the meeting between the President and the President-elect, tweeting, “President #MBuhari receives Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu #officialABAT, the President-elect, today in Daura, Katsina State.”

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu #officialABAT just arrived in Daura, his first engagement as the President-elect, to present his Certificate of Return to President #MBuhari, and personally thank the President for his efforts and commitment to ensure a free, fair, and credible election.”
