It was gathered that Egbeyemi passed away on Saturday at a private hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The former deputy governor died at the age of 79.
Chief Egbeyemi, who was born on May 8, 1944, was a lawyer and politician.
Chief Egbeyemi served as deputy governor of Ekiti State from 2018 to 2022.
