Frontline Ado Ekiti political pressure group, Asipa Political Family, has condoled with the entire indigenes of Ado Ekiti resident in the state, the country and the diaspora on the passing of the immediate past Deputy Governor of the state, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, describing his passage as an irreparable loss.

In a statement signed by the convener and President of the Asipa Political Family, Hon Ayodeji Adarabierin, the APF described the late Deputy Governor as an Ado indigene of great repute and pedigree, noted for his exemplary social and political influence who used his offices at different levels to make visible and laudable contributions to the growth and development of Ado and Ekiti state as a whole.

“Otunba Egbeyemi was a great leader, father and central figure to many who loved him for his unbiased candid counsel and teachings, in public service and especially in the political arena where he was an active figure. He was a mentor and counsellor to many young persons who looked up to him for guidance and counsel”.

“He lived his life in the service of God, Ado, Ekiti state and humanity, always ready to offer his mentorship and assistance to all who came knocking at his door for such, going the extra mile by sharing contacts and resources”.

The Asipa Political Family commiserates with Baba Egbeyemi’s children, family and associates on the demise of the late political icon. Pls be consoled with the fact that he lived a good life, full of impact and ended same on a glorious note.

Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, renowned teacher, legislator, lawyer and Deputy Governor between October 16, 2018 and October 15, 2022, died on Friday evening after a brief illness at the age of 79.
