Oba John Adegbenro Falore, Ajibade III, the Olufaki of Ifaki-Ekiti, has described the late Alhaji Oweseni Lawal (Olofi) as a great Nation Builder who will forever be remembered as a propeller of an ideal society.
All Nigeria Latest News reports that the Monarch stated this at the 90days Fidau prayer of the elder statesman held at Ifaki-Ekiti on Saturday.
In a statement signed by his Media Adviser, Oluwasegun Aina, the monarch extolled Alhaji Lawal’s sterling qualities.
Olufaki said he is a rare gem with a good propelling force for nation-building.
”He is gone but we will always remember him for good being a lover of all who doesn’t discriminate.”
He said his type is rare while advising his children to see development as a virtue as their late father did.
“The footprints of Alhaji Olofi will forever be remembered for good.
“May Allah grant him Aljanat fridaus in heaven,” the monarch prayed.
The event was honored by the presence of former Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni, Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi, and several other dignitaries who spoke highly of Alhaji Lawal, describing him as a commendable individual.
