MohBad, 27, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, amidst controversies surrounding the cause of his death. Some reports suggested that he had sought medical treatment for an ear infection, and after receiving an injection, he lost consciousness and did not regain consciousness.
Amid conflicting reports about his death, the singer was reportedly laid to rest today, September 13, less than 24 hours after his tragic passing, in accordance with Islamic rites.
Live footage from Mohbad’s burial in the Ikorodu area of Lagos has surfaced online, capturing the gathering of young people in the neighborhood as they paid tributes to the late singer.
Several clips on social media showed the burial procession as many wailed when his coffin was lowered to the ground.
The clips captured the moment when the body of the deceased arrived as people gathered around a car while it rained there.
The ceremony was presided over by white garment pastor who offered prayers for his soul to find eternal serenity.
In another video, some young people were seen singing as they mourned Mohbad while making bold claims about the singer’s death.
This is coming after videos made the rounds online of Mohbad’s grave being dug, and some of the onlookers present complained about its location.
