Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Ahmed Galadima Aminu to serve as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) for a term of four years in the first instance, All Nigeria Latest News reports.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), announced that the newly appointed Executive Secretary/CEO most recently held the position of General Manager in the Education and Training Department at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.
The statement further indicated that the appointment of the new Executive Secretary/CEO comes after the submission of a retirement application by the outgoing official, Bello Aliyu Gusau.
Gusau is set to commence a 90-day pre-retirement leave starting from September 26, 2023.
Tinubu has directed the new PTDF boss to serve in an acting capacity until he commences his fresh term of four years in office, beginning on December 26, 2023.
