The Management of Okemesi/Ido-Ile LCDA, led by Chairman Hon Owolabi Sunday Ajibade, recently organized a Stakeholders meeting to deliberate on priority projects for potential execution in the Year 2024 BUDGET DRAFT ESTIMATE.
The meeting, which drew a notable attendance of dignitaries from both Okemesi and Ido-Ile communities, provided a platform for in-depth discussions on crucial community needs.
Among the extensively expressed priorities were the construction and rehabilitation of roads, borehole provision, renovation and repairs of market stalls, urgent attention to health center roofing, empowerment initiatives for youths, widows, and indigents, as well as the construction of culverts, among others.
Responding to the community’s input, Chairman Hon Owolabi Ajibade affirmed his commitment to incorporating every request into the proposed Budget Draft Estimate for the Year 2024. He assured stakeholders that these priorities would also feature in the next three years’ Budget Proposal, adhering to the directives of the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (M-TEF).
The chairman urged the residents to collaborate with the present administration at both the state and local government levels, emphasizing that this synergy is vital for realizing the commendable goals of democratic dividends.
Additionally, he pledged an unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for residents, urging timely payment of taxes and dues to propel the LCDA to greater heights.
