Aliko Dangote, President/Chief Executive of Dangote Industries Limited, has disclosed plans to publicly list the Group’s subsidiary, Dangote Petroleum Refinery, on the Nigerian Exchange Limited, All Nigeria Latest News reports.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Dangote revealed that the company has addressed challenges related to crude oil supply and is now ready for the public listing.

He stated, “We have successfully resolved all issues related to crude oil supply. We are now poised to proceed with our initiative to list the refinery on the Nigerian Exchange Limited.”

Dangote disclosed that the refinery, set to produce diesel, kerosene, and jet fuel, is slated to commence operations in December. He confirmed the finalization of a deal for the first cargo, approximately six million barrels, scheduled for delivery next month.

Once operating at its full planned capacity, the refinery is designed to produce 650,000 barrels of oil per day. Initially, there will be a rollout at 540,000 barrels per day.

The refinery anticipates generating 27 million liters of diesel, 11 million liters of kerosene, and nine million liters of jet fuel. Crude supply for the refinery will be sourced from multiple producers in Nigeria, including the country’s state oil company.
