Standing out of hundreds of known privileged women in the world is Erelu Bisi Fayemi, distinguished by her genuine passion for the growth of others, alleviating the sufferings of people around her, mentoring young ladies into confident and goals oriented individuals, just to mention a few in her tactical approach to advancing the course of the women folk.
Starting from her electrifying presence anywhere she’s found, charging the atmospheres around her with her naturally endowed charming look to her radiant smiles, it takes no stress to qualify the kindness in her.
As the wife of the Governor of our dear State, one can easily testify to the great deeds of Erelu Bisi Fayemi to the women’s folk in the State, Her consistent efforts on women’s empowerment in the State has since been yielding positively as we now have an increased level of participation of women in politics and subsequently resulting in women’s voices becoming louder and stronger in policy and decision making in Ekiti State,
Known for her consistent roles in protecting the rights of women and children, She championed the gender based violence awareness campaigns launched strategically to reduce abuse of Women’s rights has since checkmated the risks of violence against the opposite sex in the State.
Erelu’s quick interventions for the needy in times of exigencies has been a source of divine help for many helpless women held at their various maternity beds for their inabilities to settle their delivery bills. Erelu’s love and for the aged citizens in the society remained unequalled, the recently launched “Ounje Arugbo” an initiative established to monitor and cater for the needs of the aged citizens in the State is borne out of her love and passion for the welfare of our aged citizen.
Today, I can confidently say that Ekiti women are cloth with strength and dignity, courtesy of the inspirational leadership of Erelu Bisi Fayemi who like an amazon, has been on the forefront for women liberation in the Society.
And on behalf of the Good women of Ekiti State, I wish Her Excellency a joyous birthday celebrations with prayers of Good health, vitality and strength to sustain her giant strides…!
